Bats’ Friday Night Game in Vermont Postponed

KEENE, N.H. – The Keene SwampBats' interdivisional matchup scheduled for Friday night against the Vermont Mountaineers at Recreation Field has been postponed due to expected rain and thunderstorms in the area.

The game will be made up on July 7 as part of a doubleheader when the Bats next travel to Montpelier.

Keene (9-7-1), who snapped a three-game losing streak on Jackson Smith's walk-off home run in Thursday night's 3-2 win in the second game of a doubleheader against North Shore, will travel to face the Bristol Blues on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. before a four-game home week which begins with consecutive matchups against the North Adams SteepleCats on Monday and Tuesday.

It is the Bats' third weather-related postponement of the season.
