Four Bats Named 2026 NECBL All-Stars
Smith, Schuyler Named Starters for Northern Division Team
KEENE, N.H. - The Keene SwampBats saw four of their players selected to the 2026 NECBL All-Star Game, set to take place on Sunday, July 26 at Goodall Park in Sanford, Maine, when the league announced the selections on Sunday.
Jackson Smith (Cincinnati) and TJ Schuyler (Georgia Southern) were each named starters at second base and catcher, respectively, with the duo combining for each of the SwampBats' two best batting averages. Smith is hitting .382 with a 1.120 OPS while Schuyler has hit .333 with an .838 OPS. Nico Senese (Georgia Southern) was selected as the reserve first baseman, with the rising senior currently tied for the team lead in home runs (6) and RBI (22) while hitting .260.
Rocco Calise (Eckerd) has been named to the Northern Division's bullpen after an impressive summer so far, pitching to a 4-0 record and 1.54 ERA over eight appearances (one start). He has struck out 24 in 23.1 innings and held opponents to a .185 batting average.
The NECBL All-Star game this year is being hosted by the Sanford Mainers, with first pitch slated for 5:10 p.m. one week from today.
